Brussels Airport builds temporary bus station

To allow for the construction of Hub 3.0 and the new Intermodal Hub, Brussels Airport is to start work shortly on the construction of a temporary bus station.

The move of the bus station is essential to allow for excavation works at its current location from April 2026 onwards. The temporary bus station will ensure that bus traffic can continue to run smoothly during all stages of the Hub 3.0 works.

To free up space for the temporary bus station, the landside/airside boundary at the Ground Services Equipment (GSE) area was moved 45 metres.

Timing of the works

Construction of the temporary bus station will start at the end of September with work scheduled for completion in April 2026. From then on, all public buses, intercity buses and chartered transport will be diverted to this new location.

What does this mean for you?

The relocation of bus station may have an impact on the daily commute of colleagues and visitors.

We are building a covered walkway from the temporary bus station to the Diamond building so you can walk to the office comfortably even in rainy weather. The entrance to the Diamond will be relocated for this purpose.

Further details will follow.
