Nonstop to São Paulo with LATAM Airlines

On Tuesday 2 June, LATAM Airlines inaugurated its new direct service between Brussels Airport and São Paulo/Guarulhos in Brazil.

The route will operate three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from Brussels Airport – and will provide travellers with convenient access, via São Paulo, to more than 135 destinations across South America.

Flights will be operated with Boeing 787-9 aircraft, offering capacity for 300 passengers – including 30 Premium Business and 270 Economy seats. The average flight time from Brussels Airport to São Paulo is approximately 12 hours.

The new route was inaugurated in the presence of Mr Silvio Albuquerque, Ambassador for Brazil to Belgium, Ms Valentine Mangez, Consul General of Belgium in São Paulo, Mr Thibaud Morand, General Manager EMEA, Asia & Oceania of the LATAM Airlines Group and Mr Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport.

For Brussels Airport the launch of this new direct service to São Paulo is an important milestone: it is the first direct passenger link with Latin America in more than 25 years!
