Eight new destinations this summer

This summer, travellers flying from Brussels Airport can choose from 180 non-stop destinations. The intercontinental network will grow to 41 destinations, including São Paulo (Brazil), Halifax (Canada), Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Chengdu and Chongqing (China).

An overview of the new destinations

  • Since 26 March, Air China has been operating three flights a week to the vibrant metropolis of Chengdu in south-west China, which is best known for its panda reserve and its refined cuisine.
     
  • Since 30 March, Volotea has been operating three flights a week to Oviedo, the capital of Asturias in northern Spain.
     
  • From the end of April, LOT Polish Airlines will launch four weekly flights to Gdańsk, the famous port city in northern Poland.
     
  • From 2 June, LATAM Airlines will start three weekly non-stop flights to the Brazilian metropolis of São Paolo, the first direct passenger service from Brussels Airport to South America in 26 years!
     
  • Also in June, Brussels Airlines will launch two weekly flights to Kilimanjaro Airport in Tanzania. The ideal starting point to climb Africa’s highest mountain or go on a wildlife safari.
     
  • In the same month, Air Canada will start operating three flights a week to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia on the east coast of Canada, famous for its rugged coastline and iconic lighthouses.
     
  • Furthermore, Hainan Airlines operates three flights a week to the futuristic city of Chongqing, where monorail trains glide through skyscrapers. And closer to home, Aegean Airlines flies five times a week to the Cypriot port city of Larnaca. Both routes were launched during the previous winter season.
