Brussels Airport bus station to relocate

Infrastructure

Brussels Airport is taking a new step in the preparations for the Hub 3.0 infrastructure project.  To clear the construction site for the new intermodal hub, the bus station will move to a new location from Thursday 7 May, 100 metres from the departures and arrivals hall (P14 on the map below).

A covered walkway will directly take you from level 0 of the terminal to the new bus station.

From Thursday 7 May, all buses operated by De Lijn, the MIVB, Flibco, Flixbus and Airport Express, as well as all shuttle services, will depart from the new bus station.Timetables remain unchanged.

Lockers will be provided at the bus station where passengers can safely leave their belongings.

600 buses a day

Did you know that around 600 buses stop at Brussels Airport every day? That’s more buses than flight movements. Thanks to the new bus station, buses can continue to operate normally during the works for the new intermodal hub.

The new bus station is a temporary solution. In four years’ time, bus services will permanently move to the intermodal hub. From 2030, all public and shared transport will arrive and depart there, with an improved connection to the underground train station, a renovated central bus station, a renovated taxi area, a new platform for intercity buses and the terminus for the airport tram.

In this way, Brussels Airport will become a convenient transport hub, not only for passengers and airport staff, but also for you, our neighbours.
