At the start of the covid-19 crisis, we automatically extended the validity of type A licences by 3 months. This rule came into force on 16 March 2020. However, this rule will no longer apply as of 1 July 2020. The additional 3 months of validity will therefore only be added to licences with an expiry date from 16 March 2020 until 30 June 2020.
Hereby a number of example cases to outline the practical impact for your employees:
Given the limited testing capacity of our driving licence department, we ask that you only schedule driving licence exams for employees who will actually need them.
The driving license service will be open as of today and available on the following days and hours. Appointments for taking the A licence exam must be booked via the website from now on:
For prevention reasons, participants are requested to wear a face mask in the classroom while taking the test and to comply with the other hygiene regulations.
If your employees have been absent for a long time and they are in possession of an airport driving license, be sure to let them go through the essential safety information again.
