Mobility Week: your trip, your way

Mobility Week, from 16 to 22 September, is the perfect occasion to reconsider the way you commute to work and discover the alternative that best suits you.

Here's an overview of the many options to reach Brussels Airport:

🚆 Train

Every day, some 220 trains stop at Brussels Airport - Zaventem station

  • There are direct trains to Brussels Airport from 84 train stations including Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels, Gent, Knokke, Kortrijk, Liège-Guillemins, Leuven, Namur and Ostend.
  • On weekdays, there are up to 8 trains an hour to Brussels.

🚌 Bus

Every day, some 600 buses stop at the airport.

  • 9 bus lines operated by De Lijn connect Brussels Airport to the region: 21, R26, R59, 71, 82, 91, N62 (night service to Place Rogier) and R20 (Ringtrambus to UZ Jette in free bus lanes).
  • Line 12 operated by MIVB/STIB, also known as Airport Line, will take you from the European Quarter to the airport in only 30 minutes.

🚲 Prefer to bike?

The cycle network at and around the airport is being systematically improved and expanded. This means you can cycle smoothly to Brussels Airport from Leuven, Brussels city centre and Vilvoorde, among other places, via cycle highways such as the F3 and the F214.

On the airport site, you can use the Blue-bike city bikes and e-bikes which you will find at strategic locations around the airport.

🔧 A Bike Service Point, where you can pump up your tyres or carry out minor repairs, is available near the entrance to the terminal on level 0.
