6 new destinations in the summer season

This summer, travellers from Brussels Airport can choose from 180 direct destinations, served by 68 airlines.

In aviation, the last Sunday in March marks the start of the summer season. This summer, travellers flying from Brussels Airport can choose from no fewer than 180 direct destinations, including six new destinations.
The airport expands its long-haul network with Atlanta (Delta Air Lines), Curaçao (TUI fly), Bangkok (Thai Airways International) and Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific). The short-haul network is expanded with Montpellier (Transavia) and Bordeaux (easyJet and Transavia).

Solid intercontinental network

This summer, in addition to 151 short- and medium-haul destinations, travellers can fly non-stop to 39 long-haul destinations.

The launch of Thai Airways International last December and Cathay Pacific this summer completes the Asia network at Brussels Airport, which now includes seven nonstop destinations: Tokyo (Japan), Bangkok (Thailand), Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong (China), and Singapore. The new connections in Asia also provide one-stop holiday routes for travellers to destinations such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand.

The offer from Brussels Airport also includes 7 destinations in North America: Atlanta, New York, Newark, Chicago and Washington in the US, Montreal and Toronto in Canada.

In Central America there are direct flights to 3 destinations: Cancún (Mexico), Willemstad (Curaçao) and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic).

In Sub-Saharan Africa, passengers can choose from 18 destinations: Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Accra (Ghana), Banjul (Gambia), Boa Vista (Cape Verde), Bujumbura (Burundi), Conakry (Guinea), Cotonou (Benin), Dakar (Senegal), Douala (Cameroon), Entebbe (Uganda), Freetown (Sierra Leone), Kigali (Rwanda), Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo), Lome (Togo), Monrovia (Liberia), Nairobi (Kenya), Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) and Yaoundé (Cameroon).

The Gulf region accounts for four destinations: Abu Dhabi and Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Doha (Qatar) and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).

With such an extensive offer, there's something for everyone.

National industrial action on Wednesday 25 June

What is the situation?

Due to the national industrial action on Wednesday 25 June in which the staff of the security service provider is participating, we unfortunately expect major disruptions to our airport operations on that day.

What does this mean for my flight?

To ensure the safety of passengers and staff, we have decided, in consultation with the airlines, not to operate any departing flights on 25 June. The airlines will contact passengers directly to inform them of their options.

Arriving passenger flights

As departing passenger flights are cancelled, cancellations are also possible on some arriving flights. We advise all passengers to check the status of their flight with their airline or on our website or the app.

The flight overview on our website will show cancellations only once they are registered by the airline.

Public transport

Significant disruption to public transport is expected. Please consult the website of  NMBS/SNCB and De Lijn for the latest information regarding their services.

We regret the inconvenience caused by this action.
