H.M. the King visits our airport: the photos!

On Thursday morning, Brussels Airport had the honour of welcoming His Majesty the King for a visit on the consequences of the Covid-19 crisis on the aviation sector.

Brussels Airport CEO Arnaud Feist explained the effects of the crisis on the airport ecosystem before visiting the Covid Test Centre and meeting the staff there.

The visit continued in the departure hall where the CEOs and employees of Brussels Airlines and TUI Fly explained their activities during the Covid period as well as the special attention given to passenger health safety.

Finally, the King and Arnaud Feist went to the cargo area and more precisely to the tarmac where they were able to witness the loading of air cargo on board a passenger aircraft, converted for the transport of freight. They also met with the CEOs and employees of Aviapartner and skeyes for an exchange of views on the measures that have been taken to deal with the crisis.

A royal visit that was much appreciated by the entire airport community.
