Destination in the spotlight - Tbilisi

As of 25 March 2018, Georgian Airways will be flying twice a week to Tbilisi. For passengers, this direct route to Georgia constitutes an easy connection to the centre of Eurasia and, as Tbilisi residents themselves like to say: the balcony of Europe. With the arrival of the new connection, Brussels Airport checks off its biggest hitherto unserved destination within Europe. Georgian Airways will operate a B737 or an E190 to the mountains of the Caucasus on Thursdays and Sundays.

Let yourself be surprised by the delicious wine, the beautiful mountains and the hospitality of the local population. A few hours´ drive from the airport you´ll find the well-known Gelati Monastery (UNESCO world heritage site) and Ushguli, currently the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe. Near the Georgian border, you can also find the highest mountain in Europe: Mount Elbrus (5642m)!
