8 new destinations from Brussels Airport

With the winter season comes a renewal of the airport flight offer. Once again, this winter some new destinations will be added to our network. This brings the count up to 164 passenger destinations served from Brussels Airport. And there’s something for everybody.

An overview

With TUI fly, you can fly up to 2x a week to Puerto Plata. In addition, flying to Mombasa 1x a week joins the possibilities. The latter route is combined with Zanzibar.

Brussels Airlines, the other home carrier of our airport, is operating passenger flights to Wroclaw 3x a week and Kiev 4x per week.

Ryanair also has a new destination. The low-cost airline takes you up to 2x a week to Amman.

Air France launches a service to Rennes as a new destination in France.

Three new destinations introduced in the summer season will also be continued during this winter season. Cathay Pacific flies 4 times a week to Hong Kong, Hainan Airlines twice a week to Shenzhen and Georgian Airways 2 times a week to Tbilisi.

Additional flights and seats

As usual, some airline companies have also strengthened their existing network. Aeroflot is, for example, increasing its service to Moscow with a 3rd daily flight. ANA chooses to deploy a larger aircraft for its daily flight to Tokyo. This makes 46 extra seats per flight available. Etihad Airways also switches to a larger model as of January for the daily flight to Abu Dhabi and offers 37 additional seats per flight.

National industrial action on Wednesday 25 June

What is the situation?

Due to the national industrial action on Wednesday 25 June in which the staff of the security service provider is participating, we unfortunately expect major disruptions to our airport operations on that day.

What does this mean for my flight?

To ensure the safety of passengers and staff, we have decided, in consultation with the airlines, not to operate any departing flights on 25 June. The airlines will contact passengers directly to inform them of their options.

Arriving passenger flights

As departing passenger flights are cancelled, cancellations are also possible on some arriving flights. We advise all passengers to check the status of their flight with their airline or on our website or the app.

The flight overview on our website will show cancellations only once they are registered by the airline.

Public transport

Significant disruption to public transport is expected. Please consult the website of  NMBS/SNCB and De Lijn for the latest information regarding their services.

We regret the inconvenience caused by this action.
