Spotters Day at Brussels Airport

On 1 August, Brussels Airport organised the 6th edition of its Spotters Day. After a contest with over 400 participants, 20 lucky spotters were selected for a unique day of plane spotting on the Brussels Airport tarmac.

Apart from getting to photograph planes from a privileged location alongside the runway, they were also given a tour of airport fire station West and got to watch DHL's cargo operations from close by.

But the highlight for the spotters was the passage of the Brussels Airlines 'Belgian icons' and of an Ethiopian Airlines Dreamliner in its 'Brussels' livery.
