Welcome to Belgium! Brussels Airport is the gateway to Belgium, that small, but colourful country in the heart of Europe. At the airport, you may already have tasted some of our Belgian treasures such as chocolate, fries and beer and admired Belgian fashion or Antwerp diamonds.
Still, the best way to get to know a place is to explore it for yourself. And that’s one of the benefits of Belgiums small size: everything is within easy travelling distance. You can stand in front of one of our tourist highlights in less than an hour and a half. What’s more, Brussels Airport provides direct rail connections to the major tourist cities.
We are, in a manner of speaking, the first proud ambassador of our country and we’d like to help you on your way with a few tips for places to see in Belgium. We would also like to draw your attention to our partner organisations, the 3 regional tourist agencies.
