The travel documents required for your journey can vary based on your destination and personal situation. It is important to prepare them in advance. Check out the requirements for your destination. Or consult the conditions with your airline.
You can check-in for your flight online in advance. This is possible from 24 to 48 hours in advance. Your airline will send you an email to check-in for your flight. Afterwards you will receive your boarding pass and further details.
When you arrive at the airport and you are travelling with hand luggage only, go straight to the Security Screening. Otherwise, you can take your bags to the check-in desk of your airline.
Do you prefer to check-in at the airport? You can collect your boarding pass at the check-in desk of your airline. Your hold – and sometimes hand – luggage can be dropped off here. Make sure to check with your airline for the specific check-in times, because they may vary. Sometimes you can use the self-service check-ins at the airport.
To find your check-in desk, look at the information screens in the Departure Hall. Once you have checked-in, we recommend you to go through Security Screening.
Are you travelling with Brussels Airlines or another Lufthansa Group airline (Austrian, Swiss or Lufthansa Airlines)? And have you checked in online in advance? Then you can use the Self Bag Drop at Brussels Airport.
