Luggage and items left on the plane
Your airline and its baggage handler will help you. If you can, report it straight away at the desk in the baggage reclaim hall.
Before you leave the baggage reclaim hall, go to the desk of your airline's baggage handler near belts 7 and 8 and report it right away. That is the quickest way: reporting online is a lot more complicated.
At Brussels Airport, Aviapartner and Alyzia are the baggage handlers. Their Lost & Found desks are run by partners such as Dirby and Skycap4u. Our wizard tells you which desk you need after a few short questions.
Already left the baggage reclaim hall? Our wizard will also tell you who to contact.
Often, the airline or the handler will send your luggage on to you. Sometimes they will ask you to collect it yourself in the baggage reclaim hall. In that case, report to the security agent at the entrance of the baggage reclaim hall on the arrivals level, with these documents:
Up to 14 hours after your flight: your identity card, boarding pass and luggage tag. You received the tag when you checked in.
More than 14 hours after your flight: also the reference number of your report. You received this number from the handler.
Once your documents have been checked, you can enter the baggage reclaim hall and go to the handler's desk.

We will keep you posted. 7 days after your report you will receive an email with an update, and again after 14 days. If we have not found your item after 30 days, we close the search. We will let you know by email as well.
Anything to add? Simply update your existing report, there is no need to submit a new one.

Have we let you know that your item has been found? Then you can collect it by appointment or have it sent to you.
Found something?
Hand it in to the nearest airport staff member: airline or baggage handler staff, security, a shop assistant, the information desk in the departures hall or the Airport Crew. They will pass it on to the Lost & Found service, so it can be returned to its owner as quickly as possible.
Found a passport or identity card? Please hand it in as soon as possible.
