Getting to the bus station

The bus station is located one floor down from the Arrivals Hall, at level 0. The escalator or elevator provides easy access to the bus station.

Regional destinations

De Lijn provides a seamless bus service to the area surrounding the airport and Brussels city centre.

The STIB Airport Line takes you from Brussels Airport to the European Quarter, a stone's throw from the shops uptown, in just 30 minutes.

Cargo zone (Brucargo)

  • All bus services via Brucargo depart from platform B.
  • Passengers travel free of charge on De Lijn buses within the airport grounds.

Tickets

  • SMS-ticket (€2): text DL to 4884 (with Belgian SIM-card only, €0.15 provider charge).
  • M-ticket (€1.80): download the De Lijn app (iOS or Android), register and purchase an M-ticket.
  • On the bus (€3): board the bus and purchase your ticket from the driver. Have the exact change to hand.

STIB Airport Line

  • From Monday to Friday, until 8 pm: bus number 12 operates an express service, only serving the main stops.
  • During the week, after 8 pm and all day on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: bus number 21 operates a regular service, serving all stops.
  • STIB buses depart from platform C.

Tickets

  • Via the GO vending machines: pay for your ticket prior to boarding with Maestro, credit card or cash.
  • On the bus: board the bus and purchase your ticket from the driver.  Tickets purchased on-board are more expensive.
