Brussels Airport, great journeys starts here

From 6 to 22 February, the world’s attention will be on the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, hosts of the Olympic Winter Games. For the Belgian delegation, however, the journey starts much closer to home: at Brussels Airport. This is where years of dedication and training come together, and where a lifelong Olympic dream truly begins.

A proud partner of Team Belgium and Paralympic Team Belgium

Brussels Airport has been a proud partner of the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee (BOIC) and the Belgian Paralympic Committee (BPC) since 2016. In October 2025, this partnership will be strengthened further as Brussels Airport becomes a main partner for the next four years.

Our partnership is built on shared values. Ambition, perseverance and team spirit lie at the heart of every great sporting achievement, and they are qualities we recognise in our own organisation. Just as sport brings people together, an airport connects people, stories and dreams across borders. Through this partnership, we actively support and promote the Olympic values of excellence, respect and unity.

The road to Milano–Cortina

For many Team Belgium athletes, the journey to the Winter Games begins at Brussels Airport. Departures will take place at different times, each aligned with individual competition schedules and preparation plans. On 23 February, the team will return together, bringing home unforgettable memories and, hopefully, a few Olympic medals.

Bringing sport to life for travellers

In the lead-up to the Olympic Winter Games, Brussels Airport will bring the Olympic atmosphere into the terminal. Travellers can enjoy a variety of sporting experiences, including a countdown clock to the opening ceremony, agility challenges and interactive games.

New Team Belgium collection unveiled at Brussels Airport

The departure hall also served as the backdrop for Catwalk to Milan, the fashion show unveiling the new Team Belgium collection for the Winter Games. (Para-)athletes presented the outfits to partners and invited guests. The collection will be worn during travel, in the Olympic Village and at official events throughout the Games.
