Since 1 January, the Blue-bike stations at the railway stations of Zaventem, Diegem, and Vilvoorde have joined the Blue-bike network of Brussels Airport, making it even easier to cycle to and from the airport or Brucargo.
Concretely, you can pick up or leave your Blue-bike bike at these locations, without risking a fine.
Rates: national Blue-bike rates apply from the railway stations, with a discounted rate from the airport or Brucargo (€1/city bike, €2/e-bike per 30 minutes).
Near the Terminal, Blue-bikes are available at Terminal, Passport, P41, b.house and P58. In the cargo area, they are available at the cargo West bus stop, building 706 and cargo North bus stop.
You can end your ride anywhere on the Brussels Airport site or at a Blue-bike location at one of the three neighbouring stations (Zaventem Station, Diegem Station, Vilvoorde Station). If you end your ride at another Blue-bike location, an additional fee for incorrect parking will be charged.
No. For any ride starting from one of the three nearby stations, Blue-bike national rates apply. From these locations, you can reach Brussels Airport in less than 30 minutes, which means you benefit from the reduced rate for a short ride.
With the “Member” tariff plan, an e-bike ride from one of these stations to the airport will cost you a maximum of 2 euros. You benefit from a free year of membership thanks to the promo code.
