Commuting by bike and motorcycle

If you work at Brussels Airport, cycling is probably the quickest and most enjoyable way to get to work. Skip the traffic, enjoy some fresh air and have a great start to your day.

Brussels Airport is easy to reach by bike, thanks to several nearby cycle highways. Popular options include the F3 (Leuven–Brussels) and the F214 (Vilvoorde–Brucargo). Want to find the fastest or most scenic route? Plan your ride at fietssnelwegen.be.

At car park P15, you’ll find a covered bike parking area that’s free and open to everyone.

P15S is a secured parking facility for (electric) bikes, speed pedelecs, scooters and cargo bikes. It offers 216 spots with charging stations where you can charge your bike for free. Request a Soft Mobility card via your employer or directly at parking@brusselsairport.be.

P15S rates (incl. VAT):

  • 24 hours – €1
  • 6 months – €72.60
  • 1 year – €121

Since 1 January, the Blue-bike stations at the railway stations of Zaventem, Diegem, and Vilvoorde have joined the Blue-bike network of Brussels Airport, making it even easier to cycle to and from the airport or Brucargo.

Concretely, you can pick up or leave your Blue-bike bike at these locations, without risking a fine.

  • Rates: national Blue-bike rates apply from the stations, with a discounted rate from the airport or Brucargo (€1/city bike, €2/e-bike per 30 minutes).
  • Ride for free in March: subscribe using the code BLUE-BAC-2026-YEAR to try Blue-bike at no cost around the airport. Download the Blue-bike app, select “Member Year,” and enter the code. Already a member? Go to “My Rate,” select the Blue-bike Member plan, and add the code at the end.
