Frequently asked questions
How much luggage can I take?
Up to 3 pieces for free. Folding bikes and small pets are also allowed. More info on NMBS.be
Where is the train station at Brussels Airport?
The station is on level -1, directly beneath the terminal. Follow the ‘Train’ signs and take the elevator or escalator.
Why is there a Diabolo surcharge at Brussels Airport?
The Diabolo surcharge, now officially known as the Brussels Airport Supplement, applies to NMBS/SNCB tickets for travel to and from Brussels Airport-Zaventem. This surcharge helped to fund the construction of the dedicated Diabolo rail link, which improved accessibility to the airport. Brussels Airport does not collect the surcharge; this is done by NMBS (Belgian Railways).
