Brussels Airport-Zaventem station

Brussels Airport-Zaventem station is located directly beneath the terminal building, on level -1. Take the escalator or lift up to the departure hall. Have your ticket ready to scan at the barriers. You’ll be at the check-in desks in just a few minutes.

Direct connections to Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and other cities

From Brussels city centre, you reach Brussels Airport in just 11 minutes. Every day until midnight there are up to 6 trains per hour from the airport to stations Brussels North-Central-South and 2 to the European quarter.    

There are also direct connections to and from Antwerp (30 min), Ghent (55 min), Bruges (1h25), Liège-Guillemins (1h12), Mechelen (10 min), Leuven (13 min), Breda (1h07), Rotterdam (1h39).

Continuing your journey by train abroad?

With Eurostar you can travel on to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Paris, Cologne, London, or Lille. Buy your tickets beforehand online or at the ticket machines.

Buying train tickets made easy

You can buy a ticket online via NMBS/SNCB, or at the ticket machines in the baggage hall (level 2) or in the train station (level -1). Travelling outside Belgium? Buy your ticket via SNCB International.

The Diabolo fee explained

Every train journey to or from Brussels Airport includes a €6.90 surcharge per single trip. Most tickets (like a standard first or second class ticket) already include this supplement.
