Brussels Airport - General

The fifth edition of the largest job fair in Flemish Brabant is taking place on 10 February in Brussels Airport’s Skyhall

Zaventem, 29 January 2026 – Aviato, Brussels Airport’s employment hub, is hosting the fifth edition of the Aviato Jobfair on 10 February, once again the largest recruitment event in Flemish Brabant. This year, Aviato is partnering with Brussels Airport Company, VDAB, Actiris, VOKA Flemish Brabant Chamber of Commerce, POM Flemish Brabant, SFAL and SFTL. More than 50 employers will be in the Skyhall, offering over 400 job opportunities to jobseekers, students and anyone looking for a new professional challenge at Brussels Airport or in the surrounding region.

The Aviato Jobfair has become a flagship event and a key reference point for the regional labour market. On 10 February, jobseekers from across Belgium will have the chance to meet not only airport employers, but also temporary employment agencies and companies from the wider region.

More than 50 companies will present their vacancies inside the iconic Skyhall. The job fair gives candidates and students an easy and direct way to meet recruiters, hand over their CV and make a strong first impression.

“Together with our partners, the Aviato Jobfair highlights the many career opportunities available at and around the airport,” explains Inge Spincemaille, General Manager of Aviato. “As Belgium’s secondlargest economic engine, Brussels Airport is a place where we aim to connect talent and employers in a straightforward and accessible way. Despite ongoing labour shortages, we see many people eager for a new challenge. With more than 400 jobs and nearly 50 companies on-site, this job fair offers a unique opportunity to find the right match.”

A wide range of vacancies for all profiles

Among the exhibitors are Brussels Airport Company, Nippon Express, Orizio, Swissport Cargo Services Belgium, Safran, Eligio, G4S Aviation Security and Securitas. Thanks to the diversity of roles on offer, candidates of all backgrounds and education levels can find opportunities that match their skills.

For this fifth edition, the most in‑demand profiles include:

  1. Technical and operational roles

  1. Administrative and office staff

  1. Customs officers, security and screening agents

  1. Cargo handling and logistics personnel

  1. Chefs, hospitality and retail staff

Brussels Airport is one of Belgium’s most powerful economic hubs. Its ecosystem represents 30,000 direct jobs across 335 companies in 18 sectors, as well as 34,000 indirect jobs.

In this context, the need for talent remains high, while the labour market continues to face shortages across multiple professions: 251 shortage occupations in Flanders, 106 in Brussels, 146 in Wallonia – and roughly 30 roles considered bottleneck jobs at the airport alone. Among the profiles most sought after are security agents, technicians and maintenance staff, IT specialists, HR professionals, chefs, waiters and shop staff.

The participation of nonairport companies also underlines the airport’s strategic role as a talent hub, a crossroads for industries and a driver of regional economic development.

Aviato: innovating to attract and engage talent

As Brussels Airport’s employment hub, Aviato supports hundreds of companies every day in their search for talent and helps reinforce the airport’s attractiveness as a workplace. Throughout the year, Aviato boosts the flow of talent through a wide range of initiatives. In 2025 alone, 157 activities were organised, including company visits, info sessions, Job Cafés and professional training programmes.

With these initiatives, Aviato continues to play a central role in the growth and vitality of the Brussels Airport ecosystem.

Aviato constantly explores new and innovative approaches to highlight career opportunities at and around the airport, focusing on cocreation with companies in the airport community to develop initiatives that attract, activate and inspire talent.
