National industrial action on Wednesday 26 November

What is the situation?

Due to the national industrial action on Wednesday 26 November in which the staff of the security and handling service provider is participating, we unfortunately expect major disruptions to our airport operations on that day.

What does this mean for my flight?

To ensure the safety of passengers and staff, we have decided, in consultation with the airlines, not to operate any departing flights on 26 November. In the upcoming days, the airlines will contact passengers directly to inform them of their options.

Arriving passenger flights

As departing passenger flights are cancelled, cancellations are also possible on some arriving flights.

The flight overview on our website will show cancellations only once they are registered by the airline.

Public transport

Disruption to public transport is also expected. Please consult the website of NMBS/SNCB and De Lijn for the latest information regarding their services.

Busy days expected on 25 and 27 November

We anticipate busy days at Brussels Airport on Tuesday, 25 and  Thursday, 27 November. Be sure to come to the airport on time.

We recommend you to check our online tool or our app to know at what time to arrive at the airport for your flight.

We regret the inconvenience caused by this action.
