Swissport - how to retrieve delayed baggage?

Following the strike at Swissport on 22 August, some 17,000 pieces of baggage were left behind at the airport. Over 80% of these have been returned to their owners.

We are currently sorting and delivering the last pieces of luggage.

The passengers concerned are advised to wait until they are contacted by Swissport to arrange for the delivery of their baggage.
 

Baggage that could not be retrieved on arrival

  • Baggage from flights operated by Brussels Airlines

    Over the weekend, passengers were given the opportunity to pick up their baggage themselves. Over half of the baggage was returned to their owner. 
    Passengers can still collect their baggage until Monday 28 August at 5 pm.
    Do not forget to bring your identity card or passport, the baggage tag and/or the confirmation of you missing baggag report and/or your plane ticket.

    When and where can you collect your baggage?
    In building 746 at Brucargo (click here for the GPS coordinates)

    On motorway E19 take the exit Cargo. On the first roundabout take the first exit, on the second roundabout go straight ahead (second exit), then take the first street on your right.

    What happens if I do not collect my baggage?
    If you do not collect your baggage before Monday evening, it will be delivered to you in the next few days. The transporter will contact you to make an appointment. Please not that this is only possible if you filled in a missing baggage report. If you did not do so yet, you can still do so here using the token BRUSNAUG22.

 

  • Baggage from all other airlines:
    Passengers who do not wish to wait for their baggage to be delivered to them are free to go to the Swissport Lost & Found desk on the arrivals level to retrieve their bags.

    If you do not collect your baggage, it will be delivered to you in the next few days. The transporter will contact you to make an appointment. Please not that this is only possible if you filled in a missing baggage report. If you did not do so yet, you can still do so here using the token BRUAUG22.
