A pleasant journey towards the gate

When you think of walking to the gate you probably think of the different shops and restaurants you'll come across. Under normal circumstances these are all open and you would most likely enjoy a snack or a drink or treat yourself to a new outfit or a nice accessory. In these COVID-19 times, however, walking to the gate looks a bit different. This page offers you an answer to the most frequently asked questions.

Absolutely! You can, of course, use your own common sense, but as a reminder, the airport is also equipped with floor markings. This way you certainly won't forget to keep a 1.5 meter-distance.

On the seats at the gates, stickers indicate which seat you are allowed to sit in and which seats are to be left free. In this way we guarantee social distancing.

The offer of shops, bars and restaurants is more limited than in normal circumstances. However, you can still take a seat somewhere quiet or take something with you on the way. The offer will increase as air traffic increases.

Try to pay with your card, which is better for your safety but also for the safety of the airport staff!
