Unaccompanied minors

Children up to 12 years of age are not allowed to travel unaccompanied. However, as of the age of 5, children can travel as an unaccompanied minor.

Paid supervision services

If you are unable to accompany your child on its flight, the airline will take good care of him or her throughout the journey. This is a paid service for which you should make reservations when you book the ticket. Not all airlines provide this service, so check beforehand!

Your child should be taken to Brussels Airport by a parent or guardian and similarly collected at the other end. During their flight, your child will be in good hands under the permanent supervision of airport personnel and cabin crew.

For obvious reasons, rigorous procedures apply, including a thorough identity control.
