Check-in at the airport
If you prefer, you have the option to check in at the airport. Simply head to your airline's check-in desk where you can collect your boarding pass and drop off your checked baggage. It's important to check with your airline for specific check-in times as they may vary. Some airlines also offer self-service check-in facilities, which can save you a significant amount of time.
To locate your check-in desk, refer to the information screens in the departure hall. Once you have completed the check-in process, we recommend proceeding through the security screening.
If you are travelling with Brussels Airlines or another Lufthansa Group airline (Austrian, Swiss, or Lufthansa Airlines) and have already checked in online, you can take advantage of the Self Bag Drop service at Brussels Airport.

How does Self Bag Drop work?
Follow these 5 steps:
1. Check in online: Make sure you check in online in advance.
2. Scan your boarding pass: Go to a tag kiosk and scan your boarding pass.
3. Print and attach your luggage tag: Securely attach the label to your bag.
4. Place your bag on the carousel: Scan your baggage tag at the carousel and place your bag on the carousel.
5. Receive your receipt: Take your receipt and proceed directly to security.
