H.R.H. King Philip visits Brussels Airport

On Thursday 12 October Brussels Airport had the honour of welcoming H.R.H. King Philip for an official visit of the airport.

The tour started in the baggage hall for a visit of the fully automated baggage sorting system. From there the tour continued to the Sky Hall, the former transit hall that dates back to 1958. This classic example of post-war modernism in Belgium is currently being restored to its former splendour. The visit ended in the APOC, the Airport Operations Centre. This is the nerve centre of Brussels Airport where all airport processes are monitored and coordinated.
