Mission

As I.T and Network Infrastructure Architect, be in charge of engineering and implementing infrastructure scalable cost effective and future proof solutions that will maximize service availability according to business needs. Address several technical domains according to the IT Department Priorities. When managing files, the granted level of autonomy and responsibility will be in line with the experience level.

Main tasks

• Participate together with colleagues? architects to the definition and implementation of a technical architecture in line with the target enterprise infrastructure Architecture and document it.
• When new needs are expressed, translate them in a comprehensive document to be validated by I.T management that will describe:
  - the needs in a non ambiguous way ( WHAT)
  - the constrains (technical, operational, implementation. security)
  - the existing environment
  - the technical standards to be respected.
• Evaluate alternative souring models for the solution by comparing different alternatives in terms of TCO, Service Level warranty, and submit alternatives to I.T and company management for decision according to company governance rules.
• Get an implementation plan provided respecting operational constrains, cost constrains, planning constrains.Supervise implementation according to agreed milestones with a special focus on minimizing service outages.Maintain documentation of existing infrastructure up-to-date.
• Provide second line support in case of escalation for technology. Liaise with suppliers he is responsible to follow to constantly improve service level and in case of escalation
• Follow up evolution of technology for his domain. Comply with Project management best practices when managing initiatives.

Your profile

• University degree in telecom or graduate in electronics /Information technology.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as Network or System administrator
  - OR minimum 3 years experience in development
  - OR minimum 3 years experience as functional analyst

• SOA ? Service Oriented Architecture
• Middelware and Processes orchestration method
• ETLT tools, BI tools, Data warehousing
• Web development tools
• Network technology and typology (Lan/WAN,)
• All types of connectivity technology (Satellite, leased lines?)
• Communication protocol.
• Telephony (Mobile an fixed).
• Mobile Data (GPRS, UMTS?)
• OS general knowledge
• Project Management Methodology.
• Airlines main specific Telco systems (SITA?)
