Mission

Assure passengers at the airport (having baggage irregularities upon arrival or departure) are treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism, assist them in completing the necessary documentation, audit and report on all baggage related matters in order to ensure that the quality and standards of safety are followed at all times together with high standards of customer service

Main tasks

• Assist passengers having baggage irregularities, answer all possible questions and clearly indicate what steps will be taken in order to solve their problems.
• Answer any enquiries professionally and handle pro-actively where or when required in order to obtain satisfied customers.
• Follow up open files/lost items by making use of the global baggage tracing in order to ensure correct dispatching, delivery and customer contact
• Follow up on subcontracted baggage tracing activities, including file follow-up, settlement, payment and commercial compensation gestures
• Maintain and prepare Lost & Found-related statistics in order to report it to the Baggage Services Manager Brussels.

Your profile

• Bachelor or equivalent through experience
• Know-how about baggage tracing and/or Worldtracer system are an asset.
