The Europe, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Africa (EMEA) region is one of the Company's five international regions, employing over 13,500 people. The EMEA headquarter is based in Brussels.

FUNCTION

In recognition of the critical role communications play in the continued development of this world-class organization, we are looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to develop the EMEA communications strategy.

The focus will be to assure that divisional and corporate goals and objectives through media relations across the region are met. You will develop and coordinate all aspects of corporate communications within EMEA, e.g. PR plans, press releases, media trainings, speech writing, media monitoring and effectiveness measurement. Additionally, you will initiate and manage pan-regional events and activities to maximize opportunities and reinforce the leadership of the corporation across key markets in EMEA. In this role you will also be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy across EMEA.

PROFILE

You will be a business and customer focused individual who has clearly demonstrated significant expertise in all related fields gained in a similar position. You have strong planning and writing skills as well as excellent oral communication and presentation skills in English and ideally in another European language. Your personal effectiveness will come from a combination of excellent communication skills, sound judgment, influence, impact and technical knowledge.
