Brussels Airport was one of the first in Europe to apply to its local regulator for its certification as required by ICAO, and we have taken a leading role in Belgium in developing and understanding the concept of certification. Here at the airport we have an excellent safety record, and a high reputation for the procedures, people-training and applied technologies responsible for this record. These are now standard practice at our airport, and will soon apply to other airports in Belgium and elsewhere.
