On the outside we're finally going for the finishing touch. Natural daylight is of course more than welcome, but direct sunlight makes temperatures rise in no time. That is why we've opted for special fins to control direct sunlight and temperature, without having to use air conditioning which consumes loads of energy.
With the outside structure all but finished, it’s time to tackle the interior of the building. We're installing techniques such as air conditioning and electricity. The first real floors will start to appear in a few weeks. The central security screening platform is slowly taking shape, especially the huge metal structure which will contain all techniques (photograph).
Connector is already connected to Pier A now, and the connection to the passenger terminal will follow shortly.
So if you hear some drilling next time you happen to pass through the terminal: hold on a little longer, we're doing this for you.
