We already knew that the Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) was to launch a new route between Tokyo and Brussels but yesterday more details became available.
Starting 25 October, the Japanese carrier will operate a daily service to Tokyo Narita. using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner which can seat 169 passengers.
Flights are scheduled to depart in Tokyo at 11.15 am and will land in Brussels at 15.15 pm. The return flight from Brussels Airport is scheduled to depart at 8.15 pm and will land in Tokyo at 4.10 pm the next day.
For ANA Brussels is the sixth destination in Europe. This is the first non-stop service between Brussels Airport and Tokyo since 2001. The new route will provide hundreds of new jobs and is a boost for investments and tourism in Belgium.
