After successfully launching a daily flight to New York last year, Brussels Airlines will be operating a five weekly direct service to Washington Dulles International Airport as of 18 June. With this new service Brussels Airlines meets the increasing market demand – from business travellers in particular – for flights between the American and European capital.
Thanks to the flight schedule, passengers will be able to conveniently connect to over 40 onward US destinations operated by Star Alliance partner United. To allow for this new trans-Atlantic scheduled service, Brussels Airlines will extend its long-haul fleet with an eighth Airbus A330.
On top of the daily service already operated by United, the new five weekly service by our home carrier brings the total to 12 weekly flights to Washington.
Besides being the capital of the USA, Washington offers a rich cultural and historical patrimony including the White House, Capitol Hill, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the world-famous Smithsonian museums, the Pentagon, the Arlington National Cemetery and much, much more.
