It all starts back in 1954 when Ada Masotti, a corsetière with a magic touch and a fertile imagination opens a shop in Bologna which she calls La Perla. In her small flat, the talented pioneering corsetière works with unflagging zeal. Her special gift does not go unnoticed. By constantly innovating and finding better ways to combine elegance and well-being La Perla rapidly becomes a big name on the lingerie market.
