Monday morning 3 December Air Europa touched down for the first time at Brussels Airport. As of this week, the carrier operates two flights a day to Madrid.
At the inauguration, Imanol Perez, Air Europa Director of Marketing & Sales, Felipe Formariz, Director of the Tourist Office of Spain in Brussels and Léon Verhallen, Head of Aviation Marketing with The Brussels Airport Company, had the honour to cut the traditional cake.
Including Air Europa, 70 passenger airlines are now operating from Brussels Airport. Through their hub in Madrid, Air Europe offers convenient connections to a whole range of South-American destinations.
Air Europa is part of SkyTeam, the airline alliance which also counts Air France/KLM, Aeroflot, Delta, Tarom, Alitalia and Czech Airlines among its members.
