Singapore Airlines Cargo, already a large operator of full freighter flights from Brussels Airport to both Asia and the United States, has started a new weekly frequency from the airport.
Singapore Airlines Cargo has added a second flight from Brussels to Atlanta and Dallas Forth Worth, returning to Brussels, making use of the 7th freedom rights the carrier holds. Piet Demunter, Head of Cargo of The Brussels Airport Company: “Our airport is proud that one of the most important cargo carriers in our industry, Singapore Airlines Cargo, is adding yet another flight to and from Brussels Airport. It is a clear sign of their confidence in our airport cargo community and we are grateful for the airline’s loyalty and partnership.” Singapore Airlines Cargo is using one of their B747-400 freighters on the route, providing shippers and forwarders the capability to carry all kinds of cargo, including outsized cargo, over longer distances.
Singapore Airlines Cargo operates long distance freighter services at Brussels Airport since 1979. Currently, they offer 8 cargo flights per week with Boeing 747-400F aircraft.
