Brussels Airlines takes over Brussels-Toronto route

flatironIn April 2016, Brussels Airlines will be adding the Canadian city of Toronto to their long-haul network.

In doing so the Belgian carrier will be replacing the Indian carrier Jet Airwyas on this route when they leave Brussels at the end of March. 

Brussels Airlines will operate a five weekly service to Toronto using a new A330, the ninth aircraft of this type in its fleet.

Toronto is the provincial capital of Ontario. With over 2.6 million inhabitants it is also the largest city in Canada. 

Toronto and the Lake Ontario region are the economic and financial heart of Canada.

Moreover, Toronto Pearson International Airport is one of the main hubs of Air Canada. Like Brussels Airlines a Star Alliance member. This way, passengers will benefit from convenient onward connections to other destinations in Canada and the US.
