Brussels Airlines renews fleet

March 7, 2011

Brussels Airlines is renewing its fleet.  Five Avro RJ Regional Jets will be replaced by larger aircraft: four Airbuses A319 and two Airbuses A320. This will allow them to considerably increase seat capacity on several destinations including Tel Aviv, Prague, Geneva, Berlin, Gothenburg, Milan Malpensa, Malaga and Copenhagen. Moreover the carrier is leasing extra capacity from British Midland International for its flights to Bristol and Newcastle, whereas its flights to Hannover are operated from now on by its partner Tyrolean.
