Yesterday evening, international photographer Tom D'haenens presented his new photo book on Brussels Airport in the Sheraton hotel at the airport.
For over one year, Tom D'haenens has been making unique pictures of all sorts of activities at the Brussels Airport. He went to every place on the airport site, in order to capture on photo everything that goes on there.
Every day, an average 20,000 passengers board a plane at Brussels Airport, to more than 200 destinations around the world. Thousands of people give it their best every day to bring all these passengers safely and comfortably to their destination.
How they manage to do this day in, day out is told and shown in the Brussels Airport photo book. An exclusive peek at life at the airport, in hundreds of large-size photos. VRT journalist and flying reporter Steven Decraene wrote the accompanying stories.
Brussels Airport by Tom D'haenens is published by View & Vision.
