VIP travellers
There's hardly any other airport in the world that welcomes so many prominent people as Brussels Airport. This is of course largely due to Brussels being the capital of Europe. The protocol services guarantee a comfortable and efficient processing of VIP passengers, see to the collection of their baggage and ensure the security of such persons in and around the airport.

Every new foreign ambassador to Belgium who lands at the airport for the first time, is given a special welcome. This is in the hands of the airport's protocol service. When their posting comes to an end, the service is again on hand to give them an official send-off.

Ambassadors are just one of the categories of highly-placed persons who have the right to a special welcome at the airport.
Church leaders and other people in authority such a political leaders are also eligible for this service. It goes without saying that the same goes for members of royal families.
