Brussels Airport offers passengers the possibility of retrieving confiscated items, under the following strict conditions:

• Passengers have to make a written request at the moment the object is confiscated and need to fulfil the necessary formalities. Should the passenger continue his(her) trip without satisfying these formalities, the confiscated item will not be stored and the passenger will irrevocably and definitively lose the possibility to retrieve the item.
  
• The option to retrieve confiscated items is subject to payment of a 15-euro contribution (per item) to cover the administrative costs.
  
• Confiscated items that are not allowed in the cabin of the aircraft have to be retrieved within a period of three months following their confiscation. Confiscated "Liquids & gels" have to be retrieved within the month.
  
• Call 0900/700 00 (¤ 0.45/min) from Belgium or +32 2 753 77 53 from abroad (available 7/7 between 7 am and 10 pm) or send an e-mail to lost.objects@brusselsairport.be to make an appointment to pick up your item(s) or have them forwarded to you.
